Bali is without a doubt the most magic-rich area in Indonesia, and is on par with the Magic Zone and England in terms of raw mystic power.  The octonexus where Besakih sits is one of incredible magnitude, and even experienced dimensional beings like the Leferin occasionally have trouble containing  the power of  the nexus.  The many triangles also help to boost the power at Besakih and the sea on the south side of Bali is one which is filled with a variety of aquatic life forms, and the north has the occasional problem with Reachers of the Deep (see Rifts Underseas for more on the Reachers and the Lord of the Deep).
